Olga did a great job with our Newborn photo shoot and I'm so happy we went with her to capture this special time in our lives. I wasn't sure at first about doing newborn photos - I was overwhelmed with having a new baby to think about much else! She was so easy to communicate with though and patient with my slow replies / distracted newborn mom brain. Olga was amazing with the new baby as well as our dog, and her warm personality made the session feel natural and comfortable for us all. If you are on the fence about doing a newborn session - do it! You won't regret it, I love looking back at the photos.

Everything about our newborn session was amazing. From the start, Olga was responsive and organized - providing a ton of helpful tips and tricks to prepare before the shoot. Once she arrived at our home, she instantly made us feel comfortable. She helped scope out the best locations/lighting for the photos and made sure to get the shots I had initially requested. I would highly recommend Olga. Our pictures turned out beautifully! Even with a fussy 18 month old, Olga managed to capture so many great shots. She is great with kids and is very understanding. I was nervous to get photos taken during covid, but Olga wore a mask the entire time, which made my family feel so comfortable. I am forever grateful and hope to work with her again in the future.

We just moved to Chicago and we wanted to make a photo-book of my son's birth just as we did with our daughter two years ago. I saw a post on FB mentioning Helga so I contacted her directly. She was really honest and told us that this would be her first time capturing a delivery and she always wanted to do this. She seemed very passionate about it from the beginning. My husband and I saw her work and met her in person and connected immediately with her. She really inspired on us the trust we one would expect from someone you are planning to let into your live for photographing such an intimate moment. We are glad we decided to go with her and very grateful to her for accepting. It was difficult to tell this was her first time working with a birth, it seemed like she had done it all her life. She managed to work around all the restrictions from the Hospital and the Obstetrician and the result was well beyond our expectations to say the least. The story she managed to tell with her pictures is really inspiring, filled with love and full of emotion. My husband is a seasoned photographer and had nothing but complements when looking at her work from a technical standpoint. Having her in the delivery room felt just right. She was always unobtrusive and stealth focusing on succeeding at capturing the decisive moments while observing the directions from the hospital. The fact that she is a mother give her the experience and knowledge to know what to look at and when to click. She knows what she is doing and really went the extra mile and brought us the only snack we had in hours.
It really was a great experience having her photograph this once in a lifetime moment.
